Hello everyone!

I have created some timelapse videos of me loosely watercolour painting a couple of the stamps from my 'Ladies Vintage Tea Party' craft range. Below is a link for the process video of painting Evie:

Here is a bit of background information about the collection:

'"Ladies Vintage Tea Party' is a one off craft product range I designed for Create & Craft/ Rare Earth. The products launched on the shopping channel in May 2018.

The range consisted of 4 sets of stamps (72 in total) and a CD - Rom with printable artwork.

The idea of this collection is to design your own fascinators for the ladies Evie, Gabrielle, Grace and Marietta from tea party elements inspired by the whimsical fashions of Marie Antoinette. The elements can also be used on their own as separate pieces for tags and invitations etc.

The stamps are available to buy in my Shop individually or as a set."

The products used in the timelapse painting video are:

Stamp: Evie Stamp

Ink: Staz - On Ink (In Saddle Brown)

Watercolours: Kuretake Gansai Tambi Collection (Which I highly recommend)

If you have any questions please don't hestitate to ask me! :)

Best wishes,

Alex (a.k.a Lexy Rose)

Hello everyone!

Welcome to the Lexy Rose Illustration blog. Here I will post about my illustrations; how the ideas behind them came about and what the process was to create the final outcome.

I am also trying to dabble with a bit of timelapse video-making so you can all see the process behind me drawing/ painting etc. I shall post these videos here but I do apologise about some of the shaky film quality - my phone stand has been wanting to topple over during filming and I haven't quite got the hang of controlling yet.

If you have any questions or queries please leave a comment here and I will be more than happy to answer them! :) Or if you need to contact me directly please email me via lexy@lexyrose.co.uk
